Casting pour générique takes place in events in the form of a happening during which the public present is offered the possibility of choosing their role in an imaginary film. The proposals made are included in the credits broadcast instantly, credits of a film which does not exist but which can infuse the real situation: all the actors are gathered in a place which in fact merges with the film, of which it could be the plateau. The actors are free to play at becoming their character for the duration of a line. Casting pour générique turns the audience into a film crew, a community of fictional identities. The black screen merges with the room, it literally becomes a projection space where our cinema fantasies meet.
